im getting obsessed with miss selfridge!.. im loving it so much more than topshop at the moment. x

Getting ready for christmas

last night we tried to get our flat ready for christmas....

after a long journey home because of the snow

we moved all the magazines out of the living room

and laid the table all ready for when we get back on christmas eve!

Winter wonderland

this weekend we tried to get everythign ready for christmas!.. and spent a LOT in sainsburys! xx

LOVE this entire outfit.. all miss selfridge .. i really hope they are still there after christmas when i can afford them again!

Monday again!.. but only 10 days until christmas!

On friday I went to the Angel Christmas fair where my friend Eleanor was selling her lovely jewellery.. i was pretty tired and after a couple of drinks completely wiped out and had to go home! (i did manage to buy a hat before i left though!.. i'll show you tomorrow!)

Saturday was nice and homey... while sam slept

i had a sneaky breakfast (tomatoes on toast - mm my favourite)

and wrapped presents..

then we went to a lovely restaurant for a late lunch.. this place is really pretty and traditional - it would be nice to go on a wednesday when they have live piano.

then it was off to the underworld to see some bands.. the music and people were great.. the bar staff however rude and mean!... one girl decided that she didnt like me and i got kicked out!!! ridiculous! - I wish i could boycott the place but my brothers band are playing there on sunday!.. i definately won't be buying any drinks there anyway!

Sunday i spent the day with my lovely brother and his girlfriend - very nice day!

The Shop

I just had a quick go-see with a stylist.. who, it turns out.. runs a jewellery store with the specific desire that nothing is over £100!.. great! its called 'The Shop' and has some great pieces..
check it out!
i love this Miss Bibi Gold Matches double ring - £85.00

Completely Decadent Monday

on Monday the b/f and I went for a really really lovely dinner!!..

he had to go to a gig for work so we stayed local and went to Bucca di Lupo, just off piccadilly.. a place that I have walked past with B and we both had to nip in to grab cards but had never eaten at!

The restaurant is decorated really chic-ly.. white tiles, gorgeous chandelier's.. simple yet expensively!.. it is also very small so unable to get a table at the back we were seated at the bar which turned out to be great as you get to overlook the chefs cooking and get a better idea of everything on the menu.

All the dishes come in different sizes so you can choose a selection of bits, and while simple the ingredients are amazing! (as is the wine list) .. I was really torn between what to choose but eventually settled on pumpkin gnocci with pork and fois gras!.. S had spaghetti frittata and we shared broccli and then a chocolate dessert. Yum Yum.. it wasn't cheap but just too lovely an evening to mind!

Last night

Last night my friend Al won a photography award!!!

We went to the opening night of the exhibition and the awards at the Mall Galleries... It is on until sunday 13th Decemeber - GO!!!! there were many AMAZING photographs x

It was brilliant.. free food and drink and free champagne when you leave!!!

then we went on some rides at Leicester Square funfair before i was nearly falling asleep in the pub!.. great night! X

this morning

this morning...

wrapping up warm..

my walk to work..

work, M&M's, Lucozade

Xmas Atmos!

We just had a super christmassy weekend!....
Friday night P and I went to the Charlotte St Blues Bar.. Awesome place with Live music every night - I would definately reccomend it..

then we played pool all night and were actually good at 12bar!...I fell asleep on a stranger on the night bus home but luckily woke up in time for my stop!
Saturday was a trip to my brothers girlfriend's to decorate her tree..

it was so christmassy... open fire burning, candles, christmas music, mince pies and mulled wine!... i got tree envy as mine isn't as bushy and tried not to snooze in front of the fire with her cat!.. the b/f met me there and we had a bit of an epic grumpy journey home in the rain..

Sunday was our turn to play hosts.. with luch planned for half 1 we were a bit put out when my dad turned up at 11am and had to run around like crazy trying to tidy and cook!... eventually it all worked out well though and we ate so much!.. a Proper christmassy buffet with lots of cheese, stollen and pork. We decorated the tree ( and no Becky i still haven't moved anything around!) watched Blackadder's christmas then went up the hill to the Holly Bush
I love this pub.. it is at the top of the hill in Hampstead surrounded by really lovely little houses (that dont close their curtains - perfect for nosying!) it was an old stable block in the 1640's!and is so cosy!
