Wish list cont...

now that i have my beautiful Diana camera... the next item on my wishlist is a working typwriter.

I think as the world moves forward technologically, I am gradually moving backward. I love the font, simplicity and individualism of older items. It's the mistakes and smudges that make typewritten items so much more special.

it just goes on and on and on....

Received some bad news yesterday regarding a job i really wanted ( i didn't get it!) so i rudely cancelled on friends and retreated to bed with take out (thai) and a dvd (the darjeeling limited). Aside from the general mopiness it was quite a nice evening, the film is so beautiful and of course has the added bonus of featuring both Owen Wilson and Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton luggage.

I've gotten a little to the point where I either want to stay in bed ...

or open my own tea room like shipps, round the corner from my house at borough..

Housing Heartbreak...

Oh how i long to own my own house and be able to decorate it as i like.
While renting is the only option for as long as i can imagine it comes complete with with ugly furniture and bland walls! I would love to be able to personalise a place a bit more than putting up a few pictures!

For as long as I can remember I have collected images of rooms that I like and stuck them into a book divided by rooms.... I will scan a few over the next few days....
for now here are some frames and halls i love.

I only bought my new Diane Camera yesterday online at Amazon... and it's already here! Complete with a gorgeous little book and lots of inspiring pictures - I need to go and buy some film!!!

Hello Miss!

Miss Selfridge is not a store that I usually visit.... Unless it's to walk through to topshop at oxford circus! I'm not sure why, why their clothes just always look cheap and are never quite in the style i like, they tend toward the hippy bohemium look (yes still!)

However, at a friends last night she pointed out a few bits on the website and now i am hooked!







I want them all!! (especially the pink one!)

New Buys

I just bought this Diana starter kit from Amazon, I'm not entirely sure what the perks of buying this over just the camera are!... it appears to include a book, flash, filters and interchangable frames but we'll soon see.

I'm hoping that it will arrive in time for me to take it to paris next week.
