Back! After a lovely relaxing time in Spain...Alice and I lay on the beach all week, reading and eating - Lovely! (although i did manage to break my toe on the last day so am now hobbling about!)

This is our plane heading into the UK again... goodbye sun!! x

Sitges - The Wedding

Emily was of course beautiful. Piera did of course cry ;) x all in all a wonderful day x (and apparently it's good luck if it rains on your wedding day!) x

Barcelona! - the lowdown

I have been terribly slow in writing anything about Barcelona - sorry.. I wanted to do a proper city guide with all the places I visited and just haven't had time - instead here is a little summary!

I'm afraid I was a terrible tourist in Barcelona... I was fully equipped with map and guidebook yet my fear of looking like a tourist along with my sheer relief at being able to relax meant that I didn't really see any sights!

We were staying just off the ramblas (the main busy street) in the acta hotel so luckily enough were central enough to just wander - which is what i did! x

When i first arrived i was on my own so dumped my bags and set out to explore... right into a vintage fair! woohoo! apparently there is one every Thursday in the square...

It was packing up but i snapped up a vintage seltzer bottle for 30E which then filled my entire easyjet hand baggage allowance so i could buy no more!

After a lot more exploring Sam arrived and we went out for blue sangria!? (yup! blue!?)

the next day we hung around mostly at the beach before heading to Sitges for the reason of the trip - Emily's wedding!

Sitges was lovely - I would definitely recommend a trip to the 'Hotel Romantic' and the marina... although watch out for the nudist beach on the way! - we accidentally sunbathed there for a day without even realising! x

Barcelona!

I'm off to spain for a friends wedding :) see you all in a few days

Bristol

Yesterday I visited a friend in Bristol - Having read great things from Kate's blog I was super excited to visit all the little boutiques. Despite the Gale force winds it didnt dissapoint and though funds prevented me from buying anything i'd love to come back with a full wallet. My favourite shop was definately Clifton Vintage Boutique where there was a gorgeous dress just a bit out of my price range - she is going to be at the olympia vintage fair next weekend. We finished the night with many many cocktails - such fun xx

Milan Sights

Last week I got to go to Milan for work.. not during Fashion week, but the week after for meetings with Ad agencies.

Whilst it was daunting going on my own I did have some spare time to explore the city!..

The best thing about going with work (apart from that it was free) was that I explored lots of areas that I wouldn't normally have visited as all my meetings were so spread out - I literally went to every corner of Milan.

All the tourist sites were in the centre and were very close to each other - In one afternoon I managed to see the Cathedral, the parks, the shops, the theatre and the castle and arch!... admittingly I was exhausted afterwards from all the walking but for a whistlestop tour I certainly packed it in!
