Boardwalk empire
Just as I thought nothing could replace Mad Men, Sam have and I started watching Boardwalk Empire - it is brilliant! x
Twin Peaks festival
I'm sure you all by now know of my Twin Peaks obsession.... which I have mentioned here, here and here!
well there must be enough like minded people out there as my boyfriend sent me a link today to a Twin Peaks Festival!!
The reason for the festival is the programme's 20 year anniversary and it is being held at Riverside Studios in Hammermith. It will include the screening of 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me', conversation with special guests, cherry pie, doughnuts and of course coffee!
Also Michael J Anderson and Kimmy Robertson will be there, there is a costume contest, quiz and a DJ to perform your own Audrey dance!.. ok I need an outfit!! xx
A bit of Fry...Live
Last night we went to go and see Stephen Fry live at the Royal Albert Hall... it was such a wonderful evening, first we had cocktails and dinner at One Ninety, the restaurant at the Gore hotel...it was really lovely, i had salmon and gnocci.. yum, and definately the closest restaurant to the Royal Albert Hall!
Then we headed over to watch the show.. I love how the architecture at the Royal Albert hall makes the evening feel so special! We were in the stalls and had a really great view. The first half Stephen told stories from his childhood and then after the interval related stories of people he had met. He was so funny and really good at impressions. I loved his comparison of Cadburys with Apple and 'Steve Cadbury'.... Also who would have known that Stephen Fry is a huge sugar puffs fan!

Olivia Palermo's NY apartment!
Does anyone else love 'the city'? ... i only watched the hills to get the sneak peeks into Teen Vogue through Lauren and Whitney so The City was brillliant as I got to watch my favourite character, in my favourite city, walzing around magazines! great!
I also loved Olivia Palmero's character.. even when she was set up as 'the bitch' how can you not love someone who dresses sooo perfectly!!
You only get a little glimpse of Olivia's apartment in the series, often covered in her brothers mess but it is gorgeous old school hollywood glam!..
She has an amazing 63 sq foot walk in closet with zebra carpet and elfa storage system from the container store for clothes... im thinking Style Bubble's new shelving systems could give it a run for its money!
I am in love with her vintage hermes tray found in the hamptons, the baby blue side table from Gracious Home and the convertible sofa from Jennifer Convertibles.
x i suppose it probably helps that Olivia's mother Lyn Hutchings, is a partner at interior design firm Hutchings-Lyle.

I have been following shitmydadsays on twitter since i joined.. the comments made by a mans 76 year old dad who he lives with are great!..
a few of my favourites being:
"You look just like Stephen Hawking...Relax, I meant like a non-paralyzed version of him. Feel better?... Fine. Forget I said it."
"You're being fucking dramatic. You own a TV and an air mattress. That's not exactly what I'd call "a lot to lose."
"Happy birthday, I didn't get you a present...Oh, mom got you one? Well, that's from me then too, unless it's shitty."
Well aparently CBS are making it into a tv show!.. with william shatner! awesome!!!
